At West Park Day Nursery sites we encourage healthy eating, to help set you up for the day by providing a nutritional meal. Please click the link below to view our menu to see what is available.
How do I book my child into the club?
You will need to call into Club and collect a Registration Form and brochure. This will need to be completed and returned to Club along with the registration fee before we can take a booking. It will also give you the opportunity to chat with the Manager about availability, fees etc.
What age does my child need to be to attend Club? The age range is 3-11 years.
Opening & Closing Times
After School
3:20 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
3:20 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Payment Fees are payable by the 10th of each month. Fees can be paid by bank transfer, cash (if under £50) or we accept a range of childcare vouchers including Tax Free childcare (TFC).
Do I have to let you know if my child is off sick or not attending for any reason? You are required to notify us by 8:45am if your child will not be attending club due to illness, either by telephone or text message. Unless you notify us that your child will be absent for more than one day, we will expect attendance the following day. You must either inform us of the likely period of absence of your child or notify us each day of absence.
Do I have to pay if my child does not attend? YES – Full fees will be charged if a child is absent. Please note-once a booking has been made you will be charged for the sessions booked.
Cancellation Once you have booked sessions for the Holidays/Teacher Training days, full fees must be paid even if the child does not attend or you change your mind.
Who can collect my child?
The named people on your Registration / Contract Form will be able to collect your child, we also use a password security system if the collector is unknown to us.
What if my child has special dietary needs? Parents are asked to add any special dietary requirements or allergies to the registration form on joining and regularly update staff with any changes. All staff will be made aware and receive training if required.
AFTER SCHOOL CLUB
Our After School Club provides childcare when the school day finishes at 3:20 pm. Children are collected from their classes and taken to the community room where they have access to a wide range of resources and join in with an educational craft activity. We offer a healthy snack for the children to enjoy, when they join us, after their busy day at school. Children can play with friends or start their homework. We have access to the school library, which is ideal for completing homework.
Our extensive range of play equipment and resources also include craft supplies and board games. We have access to the main playground, foundation stage playground and school field, which are freely available. We find that many of our children love to be outdoors as much as possible and we do try to get outside most evenings.
