West Park Day Nursery>

The Managing Director of West Park Day Nursery is Karen Dixon, who has 22 years experience in the childcare field.

As well as having two children of her own she has gained a wealth of experience over the years having lived in various countries and experiencing many different cultures, looking after children of all nationalities and from a range of backgrounds.

She holds a level 3 and 4 qualification in Early Years Childcare and Development and is working towards a ‘work based’ assessor award.

Sharron is the Manager of West Park Out of School club located at Alderman Leach school. She has 20 years experience working in the childcare field as well as children and a grandchild of her own. Sharron has her BTEC level 3 and her level 4 qualification in Childcare, Learning and Development.

Samantha is the Manager of Magik Out of School club located at St George’s School, Middleton St George. She has 12 years experience in the childcare field and also holds her level 3 and 4 qualifications in Early Years Childcare and Development.

The Out of School Club ratios adhere to Ofsted strict regulations which states 1 adult to 8 children of 3 years old and over.

All staff undergo reference checks and clearance from the Criminal Records Bureau (CRB). Staff are then required to complete a mandatory induction period in order for them to fully understand their role and to familiarise themselves with the company’s policies, procedures and daily routines.
